When searching for a restaurant for dinner upon arriving in London I found Scully. Sadly it was closed on Monday so we could not go but then we booked online for Wednesday night tasting menu. We were worried when a revised confirmation said it would be 2.5 hours vs 2 hours as we had tickets to a show that same night.. I messaged them and they said we could switch to a la carte and we would be out on time for our show.
We arrived right at 5pm and were seated immediately. The inside is cozy and warm with an open kitchen where you can see all the chefs working.
It was not busy this night so we had a very friendly and attentive server.
The food was unique and flavourful and enjoyed by all. Our table had the corn bread, arepas, fish, cow pastrami, vegan rice & tofu plate and ended with a creme brûlée, variety of sorbets and a lovely gf/vegan cookie with zero waste banana sorbet. They even brought a nice sorbet with a candle for our son’s bday:)
Great experience, wonderful food and friendly staff. A definite must try!
